If you’re in the market for a robot vacuum to help with corgi hair I’ve got the article you need! I’ve been trialing different brands at different price points for over 5 years and if there’s one thing I can guarantee you, it’s that I would never want to live without a robot vacuum cleaner ever again.

The good news is that you don’t need to spend a lot of money if you don’t want to. I’ve found that even the cheaper models are super helpful in keeping the corgi hair situation in our home under control.

We have recently moved into a two-story house, and I currently use the cheap very first robot vacuum I ever bought on our ground floor and a new, more expensive vacuum robot on our other floor.

✨ Too long didn’t read ✨

If you don’t want to read the full article, here are my top two recommendations:

In my experience, the key differences are the docking stations, automations, and sensors.

I have the expensive vacuum robot fully integrated into our smart home. It runs automatically, it doesn’t bump into things, it doesn’t suck up cables that are on the floor and it empties itself automatically at the docking station. It also mops and it can lift the mop automatically when it goes over a rug.

Whereas on the other floor with my cheap vacuum robot, I turn it on myself, I always empty the dustbin before I turn it on, and I will want to make sure that there aren’t any cables anywhere on the floor as it will otherwise try to eat them!

But for the price difference, both robot vacuums do a fantastic job of keeping the corgi hair under control. So ultimately it comes down to what kind of budget you have and how important those automation features are to you.

Happy robot vacuuming, fellow corgi owners! Let’s keep that fur under control!

Why You Need a Robot Vacuum for Corgi Hair

If you own a corgi, you know that their fur can be pretty intense. Corgis shed A LOT.

And if you’re not careful, your home can start to look like a corgi hair disaster zone.

Enter: robot vacuum cleaners.

Not only will they make your life easier by vacuuming on their own, but many of them are now also specifically designed to tackle pesky dog hair. So you can spend less time cleaning and more time snuggling with your furry friend. Yey!

How to Choose the Best Robot Vacuum for Corgi Hair

When it comes to robot vacuums, there are a few key things to consider.

First, choose one that has strong suction power. Especially if you have rugs or carpets around your home.

Next, think about what kind of automation features you want. Do you want it to be able to dock and empty itself automatically? Do you want it to be integrated into your smart home system?

Finally, consider your budget. You don’t have to break the bank for a good robot vacuum, but also make sure you choose one with good reviews and a solid warranty.

My Top Three Robot Vacuums for Corgi Hair

Here are my top picks:

Roborock S7+ with Self-Empy Dock

This is my top pick for the best robot vacuum for corgi hair. It has powerful suction and a strong brush roll, and it can easily manoeuvre around furniture.

This is a great option for those on a budget. It doesn’t have quite as much suction as my top pick, but it’s still a powerful vacuum that can handle corgi hair. It comes with a remote control, so you don’t have to connect it to a smartphone.

Available from $259 on Amazon – Check the latest price here.

iRobot Roomba j7+

This list wouldn’t be complete without the iRobot Roomba j7+. I’ve heard many amazing things about this robot vacuum cleaner, but I never had a chance to review it.

Available from $599 on Amazon – Check the latest price here.

Pros and Cons of Using a Robot Vaccum for Corgi Hair

If you’re the owner of a corgi, you know that their shedding can be a real pain to deal with. One way to help manage the shedding is to use a robot vacuum. But are robot vacuums really worth it?

Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of using a robot vacuum for corgi hair.

PROS:

1. Automated Convenience – Perhaps the Biggest Pro of Using a Robot Vacuum for Corgi Hair is the Convenience Factor.

Unlike a traditional vacuum, you don’t have to lug a heavy machine around or even be home to use it. Simply set it up and let it do its thing.

2. Good for Allergy Sufferers – If You or Someone in Your Family Suffers from Allergies, a Robot Vacuum Can Be a Godsend.

By regularly vacuuming up all that corgi hair, you can help reduce the amount of allergens in your home. (On this topic, I recently also purchased a Mila Air Purifier and I can highly recommend it, it’s amazing!)

3. Saves Time – If You Have a Busy Lifestyle, a Robot Vacuum Can Save You a Lot of Time.

Instead of spending an hour or more vacuuming every week, you can set up your robot vacuum to do it for you while you’re at work or running errands.

CONS:

1. They Can Be Expensive – One of the Biggest Drawbacks of Robot Vacuums Is the Price Tag.

They can be several hundred dollars, which is a lot to spend on a vacuum.

2. They Might Not Be as Effective – While Robot Vacuums Can Help Reduce the Amount of Hair in Your Home, They Might Not Be as Effective as a Traditional Vacuum.

If you have a lot of carpeting, you might find that a regular vacuum does a better job of picking up all the hair.

3. They Can Be Noisy – Another Downside of Robot Vacuums Is That They Can Be Quite Noisy.

However, if you buy a smart one, you can program it to vacuum when everyone is out of the house!

Tips on Maintaining Your New Robotic Friend

Something to consider that I totally didn’t realise is that robot vacuum cleaners need maintenance. They’re not entirely set and forget. You will need to clean them and replace some parts every now and again. Overall, I think they’re still 100000% worth it, but be aware that there is some maintenance involved to keep them running smoothly.

Conclusion

If you’re looking for the best robot vacuum for corgi hair, I’ve got you covered. I’ve compared multiple models over the last 5 years and found that the Roborock s7+ ticks all my boxes!

It’s specifically designed to deal with pet hair, and it can even mop floors. So if you’re tired of constantly cleaning up after your furry friend, this is definitely the vacuum cleaner for you!
